Sheue-Ling Hwang  received the Ph.D. degree in 1984 from the School of Industrial Engineering at Purdue University, Lafayette, IN, U.S.A. Currently, she is a professor in Industrial Engineering Department at National Tsing Hua University in Taiwan, R.O.C. Her research interests include human-computer inter-action and human-machine studies. Dr. Hwang is a member of the Ergonomics Society of Taiwan, the Chinese Institute of Industrial Engineers, Association of Computing Machinery, and the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society.
