Emerging Field - Electrical Biosensing: Synergizing Current Available Semiconductor Techniques with Conventional BioMedical Methods

I will be talking about the different focuses and applications of electrical bio-sensing from both academic and industrial perspectives. The talk will cover an overview of where we are at and what kinds of opportunities we have now on the market or at the research end. Different considerations must be taken depending on what we are doing – either conducting a research project or developing a commercial product. A few bio-sensing devices, including lab prototypes and on-the-market products, will be discussed and used as examples to better illustrate potential research topics and commercial applications. I will conclude the talk with two real stories of mine regarding turning research ideas into real products. Questions and comments are welcome at any time during the talk. Thank you.
