　　Shinn-Ruey Liao was born in Taiwan, ROC, in 1949. He received his Master degree in Industrial Education at National Taiwan Normal University. He has been with the Department of Industrial Engineering, National Tsing Hua University as an instructor since 1982. His current interest of study includes manufacturing engineering, non-traditional machining processes, manufacturing system management, computer applications, curriculum development, human resource management, engineering management, industrial education, industrial safety and human factor in human-machine interaction.
