Dr. Chun-Hsiang (Michael) Chuang received his Ph.D. in Electrical and Control Engineering from National Chiao Tung University (NCTU), Taiwan, in 2014. He began his academic career at the Brain Research Center, NCTU, where he was appointed as a Postdoctoral Researcher and subsequently as an Assistant Researcher in April 2014.
　　From 2016 to 2017, Dr. Chuang served as a Lecturer (equivalent to Assistant Professor) at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS), Australia. He then held the position of Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at National Taiwan Ocean University from 2018 to 2020.

　　In 2020, he joined the College of Education at National Tsing Hua University (NTHU), Taiwan, as an Assistant Professor and was promoted to Associate Professor in 2022. As of 2025, he has transferred to the Department of Industrial Engineering and Engineering Management (IEEM) in the College of Engineering at NTHU. His current research focuses on neuroergonomics, encompassing human performance, cognitive function, and clinical applications, with a particular emphasis on brain-computer interfaces and biomedical signal processing using AI techniques.
